Our VISION
is
that we will become
&a praying body, developing our congregation in an understanding and
practice of prayer, including individual prayer, family prayer, small group
prayer, and congregational prayer.
&a redemptive body, reaching out in the love of God to those in our area
of Hong Kong who may come from any culture or national origin, that they may
have the opportunity to make an informed response to the Gospel of Christ and
to become a part of our church family.
a worshiping body, encouraging all those to whom we minister to participate
in personal, family, small group, and corporate worship.
a growing body, growing in our personal spiritual relationship with God
through Jesus Christ, growing in the development of family life, and growing
in the number of participants, and in membership of the church.
&a loving body, demonstrating our Christian love to others in our church
family, and to those who have not yet come to experience salvation through
Jesus Christ.
&a discipling body, teaching and training our members so they can grow in
spiritual maturity and leadership skills through preaching, teaching,
training, seminars, small groups, and retreats.
&a maturing body, becoming an autonomous congregation that is completely
self-supporting with its own location through which we may foster many other
ministries to the community, such as English language kindergarten,
preschool, and or tutorial centre.

We are

Community Worship
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship
the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the
Father seeks. (John 4:23)
It is our objective to engage in the worship of God, allowing individual and
corporate gatherings of Christians to worship the Lord with sincerity and
passion, and as the Lord commanded, in spirit and truth?
Community Prayer
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for
this is God s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16?8)
Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you
ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or
three come together in my name, there am I with them.?(Matthew 18:19?0)
Jesus replied, I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt,
not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to
this mountain, Go, throw yourself into the sea,?and it will be done. If you
believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.?(Matthew 21:21?2)
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you
may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
(James 5:16)
It is our objective to be a people of prayer, growing in our understanding
and practice of prayer, individually, in the family, in small groups, and as
a congregation.
Community Faith
&I live by faith in the Son of God?(Galatians 2:20)
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, (Romans 5:1)
It is our objective to be a witness to the accomplishments that may be
realized through the exercise of faith in God, which is a continuous process
producing trust and obedience in every area of a believer s life.
Community Relationship
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself;
it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in
me. (John 15:4)
We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that
we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labour, struggling
with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me. (Colossians 1:28?9)
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up
in your salvation, (1 Peter 2:2)
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his
possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. (Acts 4:32)
You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to
indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. (Galatians
5:13)
It is our objective to develop personal and corporate relationships with God
through Jesus Christ that empower us to live holy lives, grow toward
Christ-like maturity, and to express God s loving relationships with those
within and outside His family.
Community Love and Care
He answered: ? Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your strength and with all your mind? and, Love your
neighbour as yourself.??(Luke 10:27)
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must
love one another. (John 13:34)
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring
praise to God. (Romans 15:7)
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honour one another above
yourselves.(Romans 12:10)
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people,
especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (Galatians 6:10)
It is our objective to commit ourselves to be a loving and caring community
in a way that honours God and builds biblical character. It is our objective
that our local church family should become a visible expression of the family
of God.
Community Witness
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Matthew 28:19)
Again Jesus said, Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am
sending you.?(John 20:21)
It is our objective to carry the message of the Gospel to our community, nation
and throughout the world in obedience to our Lord s command.
Community Teaching
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking,
correcting, and training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16)
For the Word of God is living and active. (Hebrews 4:12)
It is our objective to faithfully translate and reach out with God s Word,
which is the ultimate benchmark and standard for daily living, so that people
around the world may become disciples of Jesus Christ and members of His
Body.
Community Excellence and Leadership
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever
is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable if
anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things.
(Philippians 4:8)
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not
for men, (Colossians 3:23)
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many
witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.
(2 Timothy 2:2)
It is our objective to identify and train emerging leaders who are fully
committed to Christ, to perform responsibilities in all areas of life with
full awareness of and to maintain godly standards of character, authentic
faith, quality, integrity, honesty and accountability, which reflect the
excellence of the God whom we serve
